"What is really neat is when you report an issue late in the day and by the next morning it is fixed by one of the UK or US support teams.I've never had such support."

Peter Riddle is the Managing Director of Actual Systems and has been involved with
Pinnacle since it’s inception with the United Recyclers Group (URG) in the United States
in the 1990s. Peter was on the original “Computer Features Committee”, which was a
group of leaders in the US dismantling industry who sat down together to define what
was required from a dismantling software that could lead the way in advancing their
businesses and their industry.
Dave Morgan is a director of Actual Systems and since joining the company in 1994,
has been instrumental in the success of Pinnacle and it's associated products. As the
Pinnacle Classic Project Manager, he was heavily involved in the analysis and design
of the system, and then headed up the installation process at many of the early
system installations in the US, Europe and more recently in Australia. Having also been
responsible for the initial development of the UK interchange, he has a fantastic
understanding of the dismantling industry which has all been fed into the development
process to help establish Pinnacle as the dominant dismantler software in Australia,
the USA, Europe as well as in his home region, the UK.

What makes Pinnacle and Pinnacle Professional so special?
In a nutshell, it’s the staff who work on it.
Take the development team for example - you’ll never
meet a more dedicated team of individuals. As a company Actual Systems works on nothing but software
for the dismantling industry, and the depth of knowledge contained within the development team and the
company in general reflects that and is unrivalled across our industry.
The current team of 8 programmers have an average time with the company of over 8 years, with some
being with Actual Systems for nearly 15. This is what helps Actual Systems focus on what the dismantler
actually wants, a focus that is the result of a firm understanding of what is required, not a vague idea
based on a couple of meetings or visits to dismantlers.
Coupled to this is the fact that 6 of the development team were
with Actual Systems when Pinnacle Classic was originally
developed. As a result the experience fed into all the work on
Pinnacle is incredible. Having a stable team ensures consistency
is built into the product and guarantees that the development done
is a perfect match for the requirements of the marketplace.
With over 5 years of development now in Pinnacle Professional,
and enhancements being made all the time, there really is no
question about the completeness of the Pinnacle Professional
system – it’s a tool for progressive dismantlers to utilise to
maximise their efficiency and profit and minimise their worries.
