Events - IT Seventh Annual, REUNION, REVIVAL & REVIEW 2007

Hosts of IT 2007 - Amercia Auto Salvage It doesn't get any better than this, a really great event at a really progressive recycling facility American Auto Salvage. This company unveiled their new facility & location in Ft. Worth, Texas at the IT show on Friday April 27th. American has been family owned and operated since 1935 by the Rubin Family. Barry Rubin has kept the family tradition of selling the highest quality parts at the best possible prices, and now gets to do it in a new, first class facility.

Hosts of IT 2007 - Amercia Auto Salvage Most of the hotels offered for the show were located in the old stock yard area of Ft. Worth, offering plenty of entertainment and dining options. If you were looking for a really good steak or Texas BBQ you didn't have far to go. The main event was held within one of American's very large warehouses and had plenty of room for vendors from all over the U.S. I am sure that there were as many, if not more, vendors at this event then any other event geared specifically toward the Automotive Recycling Industry. There were a host of seminars ranging from environmental issues to keeping family businesses in the family. Yard tours also seemed to be a big a draw as well as the nightly auctions. As always, Bill Weaver and company did a great job in putting this event together.

Actual Systems of Amercia sales and support team at stand Actual Systems and URG were really excited to have yet another Pinnacle site host one of these events. We are very proud of our customers and their facilities. American Auto Salvage was a Pinnacle Pioneer, coming on the system in July of 1998, and was instrumental in helping us develop one of our first multi-yard configurations. Actual Systems and Pinnacle would not be here without the hard work and commitment of users like Barry Rubin, Mike Kunkel and the rest of the crew at American Auto Salvage. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank a few of the other local Texas Pinnacle facilities that really helped us out at this event: Keith & Tammy Sturgeon of All Import Auto Parts, James Cooley Jr. of Hi-Way Auto, Inc. and Michael & Tom Farlow of Denton County Auto Salvage. All of these Pinnacle users go above and beyond in promoting Pinnacle and making it successful.
