Introducing Pinnacle Professional

Pinnacle Professional is the only YMS ‘Yard Management System’ that actually pays for itself. What separates Pinnacle software from our competitors is that it uses your history such as part searches, sales, lost sales and applies it in various tools within the software such as sales recommendations and pricing. By practically applying this data to these tools you become much more effective at turning your inventory and making better buying decisions which equals greater profitability. We take our development input from advanced dismantlers within the automotive recycling industry because who understands the needs of the industry better than you.

Currently Pinnacle Professional is only available in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Control Center
A front-end utility where a user can customize their screen based on their job function. Salesmen can show all of their open quotes, workorders, invoices, purchase orders and more to manage the flow of their workload. Inventory personnel can display all of their vehicles that haven’t arrived and vehicles that need to be inventoried. The control center is instantly updated.

Options Available:
Call backs, COD’s, Invoices, Dynamic Stats, Unpaid Deposit Invoices, Purchase Orders, Credit Purchase Orders, Quotes, Unconfirmed Work Orders, Old Work Orders, Customizable Sales Order, Customizable Invoice Order, Vehicles Not Arrived, Vehicles Not Inventoried, Vin Decoder, Customer Balance, and Payments Received.


Find Parts Screen
Show Stats - View all the customer information before looking up the part. It displays Invoice History, Quote History, Balance, $ Sales, $ Credits, # Requests, # Quotes, # Sales, # Credits, YTD Sales, Avg Sales, and Balance. A quote or invoice can be viewed by double clicking on it.
Additional Search Options - Stock number and part type, location and part type, part type, pinnacle part code and interchange, and part id are new search options available.
Log Searches - A search can be checked to log or not log at the time of the part lookup. Security can be set for this.


Search Results Screen
Additional Columns:
  1. Location – View the location of an inventory item or the location of a PinnacleNet part.
  2. Images – Displays binoculars when the stock number of the part has images attached to it. Clicking on the binoculars brings up the first image of the vehicle. The user can go to the vehicle to view the remaining images.
  3. Resolution. – If a part is in resolution the column is highlighted in red. If the user mouse’s over the column it will bring up the reason it is in resolution and if there were additional details added to it. There is a new preference that can be set to choose if a part in resolution can be sold.

Customize Columns - Right clicking on a column heading allows a user to choose which columns to view or hide. It also gives the option to auto resize just a column or all columns.
Real Time Networking – PinnacleNet parts are automatically updated if they are sold, deleted, modified or entered into the system.
Instant Messaging – Users may instant message within a yard or other PinnacleNet yards. When in the search results screen there will be an option to instant message a user in another PinnacleNet yard to inquire about a specific part from them. The instant message is sent to the user with the details of the part. The user will be able to easily look up that part by clicking on the link within the instant message. This will make buying and selling each others parts faster and easier.
Remaining Partner Parts – PinnacleNet displays a default number of search results. If a user would like to view more than the default setting the user can select Remaining Partner Parts and it will bring up the rest of the PinnacleNet parts.
Vehicle Parts – If highlighted on a part in inventory a user can select Vehicle Parts and the remaining parts for that mvr can be viewed and included on the order.
Edit MVR – An mvr can be viewed and edited based on security.
Part in Resolution - If a part is in resolution a user can edit the part and clear its resolution. Security can be applied to this.
Open Workorder – If the selected item is on an order that workorder can be opened and modified.
Open Quote/Invoice – Can open a quote or invoice that is displayed in the quote or invoice history. The quote can be converted into workorder/invoice or an invoice can be credited if needed.
Preference - New preference added to choose to view exact or non-exact parts on PinnacleNet.


Creating Orders










Quick Quote - This makes quoting a part quicker and easier because it saves the quote without having to open it. The quote number is immediately displayed to the salesmen.
Converting Orders – Easily convert a quote into a workorder and a workorder into an invoice. It is just the click of a mouse to convert an order.
Quick Customers - Can add a quick customer to an order with the option of displaying them in the phonebook. There are ways to find orders by hidden customers.
Default Payment - The type of payment will default based on the shipping/delivery method chosen. This is a preference.
Search for Replacements Parts – This new feature will automatically search for all of the parts on an order and then selecting a new part with allow you to replace or add that part to your order. This is a great feature when the quoted part is no longer available for sale.
Packing List - Have the ability to print a Packing List. It is a copy of the invoice without prices.
Order History – Each order has a history log. It allows you to view previously saved versions of the order and attach a note to that order. It also documents when orders are delivered.
Email - Can email a quote, workorder, invoice or report.
Customized Layouts - Each user has the ability to design their layout for the order and purchase order screens.
Function key “F5” – Easily open up an order by selecting F5 and entering in the order number.
Access Orders – Can open a purchase order from the workorder screen and vice versa.


Inventory
MVR History – Documents changes made to the mvr and who made those changes.
Vehicle Status – In an mvr there is a status bar that will automatically put a check mark next to the inventory process that has been done.
Images - Easily add images to an mvr by saving the images on your computer and uploading them into the mvr.
Numeric Stock Numbers - May edit a numeric stock number after being saved.

Part History – Keeps track of changes made to a part and who made those changes.
Advanced Criteria Searches – Under the inventory menu different searches can be selected and it will automatically populate vehicles that match the criteria chosen.
Find MVR – Is a quick way to search for a vehicle or vehicles. There is also a text filter which can be used to narrow down the results. The columns can be customized by right clicking and choosing which columns view or hide.
Modify Part – Can edit parts in inventory, view deleted parts and restock them, and view sold parts and open up the invoice to view or credit if needed.


Purchase Orders

Dates – An ordered and expected date can be set. This makes it easy to monitor when parts are expected to come in.
Credit PO’s - A credit purchase order can be created and marked completed when the money is received.
Undo Complete – After a purchased is completed and modifications still need to be made it can be changed back to an open purchase order. Security is applied to this.
Pending Inventory – Can easily find parts that have not been ordered or received in the system.


Accounting

Customer History – Displays changes made to an account and who made those changes.
Auto Allocate Payment – When taking payments on an account there is an option to auto allocate payment and when selected will automatically allocate the payment to the open invoices.






Management
Updated Reports/New Reports - Stock Summary Report, Sales Transaction Report, Deposits Paid, Unlocated Parts, Parts Sold, Sales by Screen Suggestion, and Purchase Order Detail Report.
Security –Advanced security features can be applied to different screens.
Pricing – Update part prices and round your inventory prices easily thru the pricing module.
New Jim Counts Reports – Buyer Quick Reference, Sales by Suggestions and Payroll Report, Projected Sales Report, Vehicle, Part Sales by Quarter, Sales Report, Pre Crush Analysis, Sales by Part Age, Actual vs. Proj. Sales, Part Evaluation (B4), Quick and easy budget, and Days to break even.
Order Wizard User Settings – May choose which questions are prompted when selling a part.
Remaining Parts Report – This can now be run by a particular stock number.
Pinnacle Pad – When a defined parts list is modified it will automatically update the vehicles it is attached to when a new download is generated.
Switch Look and Feel – Can change the color displayed on the search results screen for inactive text, inexact interchange, PinnacleNet parts, inexact PinnacleNet parts, extra sales, brokered parts, and parts in resolution.

Pinnacle Professional pricing is based on licenses required, our base system consisting of a 3 user license package. Pricing is also impacted on the amount of hardware you need and if we will supply that or you will source it locally. Where can I see Pinnacle Professional in action?

We offer online demonstrations any time and can work around your schedule. We need 90 minutes to give you a good run through the sales and inventory side of the software and if your schedule permits can spend as much time as you need. Alternatively our staff attends trade show and conferences all over the country see our events schedule to see if there is an event upcoming in your area.


I have a small facility is Pinnacle Professional too much system for me?

We have facilities ranging from 3 users occupying 3 acres or less to 200 users occupying 200 acres or more. The question really comes down to what to you want to accomplish in buying or upgrading your yard management system? If your end goals are to be able inventory, sell parts and expose them on the internet then they are much lighter weight products available from other vendors. If you goal is to grow the business and use management tools and technology to do it, Pinnacle Professional is the software that you will not grow out of. The bulk of our new sales come from existing facilities that have grown out of their current system and need more tools so why put resource into a light weight system that you are going to look at upgrading in 2-3 years.


My staff has been using our existing system for so long, I think changing would be too difficult.

Yes change is hard….. If we used that same fear of change 25 years ago our industry might be still thumbing through card files and interchange catalogs. Let’s get serious, change is hard but anything worthwhile is hard and we cannot move forward without embracing some change. Pinnacle Professional is a thick and comprehensive system but with that in mind we take training and data conversion very seriously.

Our training schedule and software deployment is customized to your specific requirements and is then followed up with an aftercare program and ongoing customer support. We do not sell our software without onsite training because the job is not done until we have a satisfied customer and satisfied customers are the best advertising we have.
