Following the huge success of last year's inaugural event, we are delighted to announce the launch of the 2011 Australian Pinnacle Auto Recyclers Conference.

As the 100+ delegates who attended last year's conference will testify, the event is aimed not just at Pinnacle users, but anyone associated with the auto recycling industry both in Australia and overseas.

Highlights of this year's event will include yard tours at two highly-respected Newcastle-based dismantling yards, an International Keynote Speaker, and plenty of opportunity for you to network and socialise with fellow dismantlers.

This year's conference will, again, be held at the stunning Shoal Bay Resort, just north of Newcastle, on Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19, and will be preceded by a Yard Tour on Thursday, November 17 at Hytech Parts Plus and AllFourx4 Dismantling yards in Newcastle, NSW.

With the new Pinnacle Professional eBay module users are able to seamlessly list their parts on eBay directly from the application. Just find the part or parts you wish to sell, define your start price etc, select any pictures you want on the listing then click on 'list item'. Your part will instantly be live on eBay ready for sale. Once the auction is complete and your part is sold, a workorder will be created automatically in Pinnacle with the sale details along with paypal payment information ready to process and send out.

Telephone Integration Module

Phone Integration Selling parts has never been faster or easier. Pinnacle Professional can now integrate with your internal phone system for quick access to customer records and phone numbers! features include:
  • Desktop notifications
    Pro will immediately notify the salesmen of incoming phone calls. A popup message will appear showing the salesmen the customer's information.
  • Control Centre
    The control centre allows managers to monitor all of the incoming calls for the salesmen; they'll instantly know when the phones are being answered, missed or if they're still ringing.

There was no evidence of a weak economy at this year's 16th annual URG & Pinnacle Training Conference held April 14-17, 2011 at the Invemess Hotel & Conference Center in Denver, Colorado. Quite the contrary, as attendance records for the auto recycling industry's premier event were smashed with over 500 automotive recycling industry leaders and decision makers present from across North America, Europe and Australia to learn from each other and the experts. They gathered to better understand the cutting edge developments in their rapidly changing industry, meet with vendors to see what's new in the market, and renew old acquaintances and make new friends.

"Thanks to everyone who came to Denver for the URG & Pinnacle Training Conference this year", says Michelle Alexander, URG executive director. "Our conference attendance was up this year by over 20%. We offered 54 training sessions to attendees, many to standing room only crowds." In her welcoming remarks, Michelle told the audience that "it has never been a better time to be a recycler."

Upcoming Build Content
